40GNAI - Spring

Hello!

Spring is finally here, but not really here where I live.
We had a mini snowstorm and are expecting another next week. Canada. *sight*

Anyway! The theme this week is spring and I thought it would be fun to do some girly floral nails.

I don't have much photo for this prompt because I thought I had good pictures and remove the mani, but there were some problems and it was too late to do it again. Oh well.

I used Bardot (Picture Polish) for my base and used Hudson (Cirque), Azalea (Zoya) and I Cannoli Wear Opi (OPI) for the abstract flowers.

Super girly and pretty simple. But I liked it! What do you think?

Happy polishing!

40GNAI - Three Shades of Green + Tie Dye

Hello!

Hope you are all well today :) It's sunny where I live and that makes me sooo happy! Winter is almost over. FINALLY.

This week's prompt was three shades of green and my personal prompt was tie dye. Oh boy. I never did a tie dye before and the first I had to do it was with an unusual color scheme.

My first try was not so successful.. I looked at a hundred pictures before I finally understand how to do a tie dye. Believe or not, but there a right way to do it if you want the right effect!

An other challenge was to find three green polishes.. I don't usually go for the greens, luckily I seem to have few of them in my stash.

Well, I am not sure if this looks like a tie dye, but in person it's a pretty cool effect.

So, what do you think? Win or fail?

Happy polishing!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

Hello!

Today I am back with the 40GNAI challenge!

The theme for this week was food and my inspiration came from Katie at Harlow and co. She did a mani not too long ago and I wanted to do it too, because it was so cute!

P.S.: Last week's prompt is done, but I haven't write my blog post, oops. Will do it later, I promise!

Cookies, anyone?

I started off with "What's a budget" (Trust Fund Beauty) and then painted little black circles. I went over with a beige polish and added the chocolate chips later. Voila. Super easy to do!

They were fun to do and fun to wear. From "far", they looked like a cheetah design (if you look reaalllllly faast and far far away haha). ANYWAYS!

I hope you like it and I'll see you soon!

Happy polishing!

Review from Born Pretty Store - Thermal Polish and Cat Water Decals

Hello!

I have some reviews today! Yeah!

I wore this nail polish a month or two ago, but then I broke my index fingernail and I did not feel like it would make the nail polish justice if I took pictures on my broken nail for this review. Finally it is all grown up now, so let's get to it!

The nail polish (ID: 18931) is a thermal that changes to light purple (almost pink) to a darker purple. The application was really easy and it dried fast.

You could go away with one thick coat, but I did two, because that's how I roll!

The pictures you're seeing are in the warm phase of the polish and it is pretty accurate color-wise.

After the polish had dried, I decided to add some cat water decals. (ID:16035) Pretty east to use and simple instructions. They look cute too. ;)

Overall, the products were really great. Easy to use, the polish dried fast and the change with the temperature was very noticeable. I would definitely wear again these products.

If you want to buy from BPS, I have a discount code for you: use "DEAEX31" at check out on items not already reduced for 10% off!
