40GNAI - Coral + White + Aztec and Review for Born Pretty Store

Hello, hello!

This week's prompt was Coral + White with my personal one Aztec.

I decided to do a gradient and then stamped some Aztec design on top. There was no way I was going to freehand them this week. I don't know why but I find it difficult to paint Aztec/Tribal designs on my nails. It always ends up looking like a catastrophe.

Like I said I did a gradient with Live.Love.Carnaval. by OPI and Fiji by Essie.

My coral looks orange. I know. Can't figure out why. Do you have any recommendations?

After it dried a little bit I added the stamping. I use a regular white stamping polish from Born Pretty Store and use my clear jelly stamper to stamp the design on my nails.

Disclaimer: Not my picture, it is from the Born Pretty Store site

The clear jelly stamper was from Born Pretty Store, too, and I was very pleased to see that it didn't need to be "prepped". It picked the image right up and stamped perfectly. It is a little bit more squishy than my other clear jelly stamper that I got from LadyQueen.com. As a matter of fact I think I like it better. Squishier and stickier :) I guess it depends on the person :)

If you want to buy from Born Pretty Store, you can always use my coupon code : DEAEX31!
If you want to buy nail art items from LadyQueen, you can use this code too: DXYS15!

I hope you liked it and I'll see you next week!

Happy polishing!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Grey + Color + Splatter

Hello!

This week's prompt was grey + color and my personal pattern was splatter!

I had this mani for over three days, but couldn't bring myself to do the pictures or the blog post. I think it's something about the November month. I feel like I don't have any energy left when I come home from work.. Anyways!

Onto the photos!

I used a old grey polish I had since I started my obsession with nail polishes (it's from Essence and it's called Grey to Be Here). Formula isn't that great, it makes bubbles when you apply it and it takes forever to dry.. I wait for over an hour before putting my top coat and the day after when I woke up I had bed sheets marks. The color is pretty though, it's a very light grey with a pink shimmer. I thought using a pink/coral polish will make it pop even more.

It's a pretty simple mani. I used a straw and blow the polish onto my nails. That's it :)

It's sad that we can't see the shimmer in the pictures... My coral polish looks a little bit too orange, but it's only because my camera refuses to be color accurate with this kind of color :(

Hope you like it and click on the links below to see what the others come up with!

Happy polishing!

Let's Try Those Untrieds! - Splendor Nail Lacquer "Back Up" and Essie "Tart Deco" Swatch

Hello!

In my adventure to use all my untried before I die, I used two untried a month ago to begin the week the better way possible. Colorful and sparkles was the theme.

I choose for this mani a super bright coral/pink that many of you know and own already I'm certain. I bought this polish from eeerrhhh.. I can't remember. Was it from a blog sale or was it from NailPolishCanada? I'll have to chek! (EDIT: I bought it from a destash sale.) Anyways. I bought this one but never use it (like many of my polishes haha) so I thought it was a good time to try it. I had also this bottle from Splendor Nail Lacquer that was calling my name from the day I had it in my hand.
