Rainbow Stripes Mani

Hi, Reader!

If you follow me on IG, you'll know that in the next few weeks, I'll be MIA. I have my final exam and I'm moving out so busy times ahead!

Fear not, I still have some nails I haven't show you so, maybe I'll post them when I am not studying or packing. I can't promise though.

Anyways! Like I said in my previous post, it's time for some rainbow action!

WNAC: Embellishment - Mermaid Nails with Glam Polish

Hello to you!

I still haven't catch up with all the blog posts so we shall continue this today! Three weeks ago I did a full in your face mani for the WNAC and I really loved it!

I bought new polishes from Harlow and Co a little while ago and I was eager to use them, so when it was time to do a mani for the WNAC I jumped on the occasion.

Let's Try Those Untrieds! - Splendor Nail Lacquer "Back Up" and Essie "Tart Deco" Swatch

Hello!

In my adventure to use all my untried before I die, I used two untried a month ago to begin the week the better way possible. Colorful and sparkles was the theme.

I choose for this mani a super bright coral/pink that many of you know and own already I'm certain. I bought this polish from eeerrhhh.. I can't remember. Was it from a blog sale or was it from NailPolishCanada? I'll have to chek! (EDIT: I bought it from a destash sale.) Anyways. I bought this one but never use it (like many of my polishes haha) so I thought it was a good time to try it. I had also this bottle from Splendor Nail Lacquer that was calling my name from the day I had it in my hand.

52 Week Challenge - Non US Brand : "Welcome to the 60's" by GlamPolish

It took me long enough, but I'm back with a new blog post. I struggled through the last weeks to find inspiration, motivation and time to blog about nails.

I'm coming back with some holo sparkles/glitter deliciousness!

For the 52 Week Challenge, I decided to go with the "Non US Brand" for the beginning of the week. Maybe if I have time later, I'll do the Kids Tv... I honestly have no memories about what I was watching when I was younger haha. All the memories I have is watching movies with my dad and watching tv shows that I probably shouldn't have. (Don't worry, not this kind of tv show.)

Anyways!

The last time I fell off my "No-buy" train, I bought some Glam Polish babies I wanted from a long time at Harlow and Co. "Welcome to the 60's" was one of them.

Inspired By: SimplyNailogical's Neon Holo Jellies Skitttle

Hello!

Lately I bought the Neon Galaxy Set from Beyond The Nail (because of SimplyNailogical haha) and I was dying to do her neon holo jellies skittle.

I started by doing a clear to black gradient on my nails then applied a coat of the neon holo jelly. I was little bit impatient and not careful enough so it all smeared and it was a disaster. We couldn't see the gradient anymore! I wanted to do this mani too quickly so I guess this is my fault.

The next day, I started over with a white to black gradient, let it dried thoroughly and then, I applied a thin coat of different jelly on my nails. HALLELUJAH! It worked! I waited a few more minutes and went over the part where it had the white part of the gradient (I don't know if it makes sense haha) and applied a second coat of jelly.

It was really easy to do, I swear. Only a traditional gradient and two coat of holo goodness in jellies. I had to use all of my new Beyond The Nail's polishes, because they are so pretty!

The colors in the bottle don't really show the neon-ness, but you'll have to trust me, they are BRIGHT!

A shot of Mr.Thumb because we don't really see him often.

You see that holo sparkle. Me likey!

I hope you liked this mani. t was totally inspired by @simplynailogical, so all the credits go to her for being awesome and creating such cool manis!

Happy polishing!

Nails Of the Weekend: Soul Fire By Ethereal Lacquer

It was sitting in my untried pile for some time when I finally decided to put it on my nails. I got this polish from Color4Nails back in the summer. When I saw swatches of this polish I fell in love. It was perfect, magnificient. I really liked this shade so I decided to buy it.

In the meantime, life happened haha. I bought others nail polish, fell in love with others and forgot my initial love. When I had the bottle between my hands I, must admit, didn't feel as attracted as I was when I saw swatches. I put it in my untried pile and it waited. Waited for its time.

Finally this week, I was looking through my untried pile and it caught again my attention. I let it out of the darkness and let it hit the light. That was the moment I re-fell in love. The holographic effect of this polish is truly amazing. Even when light isn't hitting right, it is a gorgeous shade.
