40GNAI- Music

Hello!

I haven't been "on time" much lately, always doing my prompt the day before Friday (or on Friday.......) that it feels weird now. We are Wednesday today. I did my prompt so early. Wow. The post won't go online until Friday, but still. You know? Wow. haha

Anyways! Today's prompt is Music! My music style is very... eclectic.. so I didn't know what to do. I chose finally something suuuuuuuuper simple and went with that instead of trying to do something over-the-top complicated. hehe.

I absolutely adore Ed Sheeran and decided to "honor" him with these nails (Simple, right?) I LOOVE his latest album and almost tried to write the titles on my nails, but too much haha.

I used High Roller from Pipe Dream Polish; the perfect green polish for this look. It is exactly the same shade as the album. Crazy, right?

So, yeah. Kept it simple but I love it. Do you like it? Do you like Ed Sheeran?

Happy polishing!

Water Melon Inspired by Nailuminium

Whoa!

Hello, stranger! It's been a while!

I was pretty busy for the last month or so, sooo that's why I didn't post as much (aha like I was posting so much before, right?!). Anyways! Now, I'm all set up (or almost) in my new apartment, I have an Internet connection (YAY) and I'm finally back, baby!

I'd like to talk about these nails a little bit now. They were done, eh, let me check...(haha do you get sidetracked sometimes when you go on Instagram? I swear I was looking for my mani, looked through my feed and closed the app without looking for what I was looking for ><')

FIVE WEEKS ago! Already?! Damn, times flies by!

I was inspired by Nailuminium (like the title of the post suggest) and they were on my nails for a whole week. CRAZYYYY, right? If you're a real nail ladie, you know it's pretty much a big deal, ok. To be honest, it was the week I was moving out/in so I didn't have time to do my nails, but shhh.

I liked them and they were so fun to wear. So bright too. The black background really made pop the tiny watermelons!

I got many compliments from my (new) colleagues and my (new) bosses! They were really liked, I think! Thank you, Nailuminium for creating something so fun!

I included a indirect light shot (second picture) to show you a truer color of my watermelons. For some reason, my coral always look like they are orange! -_- Can someone help me with this problem??

Anyways!

Hope you like them and I'll see you hopefully soon!

Pastel Bubbles and Stripes: A Look Inspired by Nailuminium

Hello!

Today, I have a nail art borrowed from Nailuminium on Instagram! She came with this idea, I'm just recreating because I admire her work!

I love the combination of pastel bubble and stripes! It creates something original!

Inspired By: SimplyNailogical's Neon Holo Jellies Skitttle

Hello!

Lately I bought the Neon Galaxy Set from Beyond The Nail (because of SimplyNailogical haha) and I was dying to do her neon holo jellies skittle.

I started by doing a clear to black gradient on my nails then applied a coat of the neon holo jelly. I was little bit impatient and not careful enough so it all smeared and it was a disaster. We couldn't see the gradient anymore! I wanted to do this mani too quickly so I guess this is my fault.

The next day, I started over with a white to black gradient, let it dried thoroughly and then, I applied a thin coat of different jelly on my nails. HALLELUJAH! It worked! I waited a few more minutes and went over the part where it had the white part of the gradient (I don't know if it makes sense haha) and applied a second coat of jelly.

It was really easy to do, I swear. Only a traditional gradient and two coat of holo goodness in jellies. I had to use all of my new Beyond The Nail's polishes, because they are so pretty!

The colors in the bottle don't really show the neon-ness, but you'll have to trust me, they are BRIGHT!

A shot of Mr.Thumb because we don't really see him often.

You see that holo sparkle. Me likey!

I hope you liked this mani. t was totally inspired by @simplynailogical, so all the credits go to her for being awesome and creating such cool manis!

Happy polishing!

31DC version 2.0: Day 29: Inspired By a Polish

Inspired by a polish...

Uhh. Hello. Nail Polish Hoarder, heeeeeere. Do you know how hard it can be, when you have to choose ONE polish to be inspired of? Like, I'm inspired by all my polishes.

I decided to go to my untried pile and choose one randomly. Cybernetic by Pretty Serious Cosmetics was the winner! *ting, ting, ting!*
