Untrieds : Born Prett Store's Water Decal and Loaded Lacquer's "No Bra"

Hello!

It's been a long time (again) and I'm so sorry about that.

I had lost interest this past few weeks for my blog but I think I'm getting back to it (again.)

I wore this mani for one of my Untrieds Monday's edition a month and half ago. Pheww.  I was looking for more pictures of this mani but unfortunately it looks like I will have only two photos for you!

For my base I used No Bra from Loaded Lacquer, a delicious pink jelly. It was so easy working with this polish, the formula make it so easy! It's discreet too. LOVE it.

The water decal are from Born Pretty Store. I still have a bunch of water decals to try haha. They are so cute, I feel bad using them because after they are gone forever :( Do you know what I mean? I'm not the only one who buy stuff and won't use it because it's too pretty? RIGHT?

Hope you liked this short post!

Happy polishing!

WNAC - Geometric + Gradient

Hi there!

So, we're back with another WNAC. This time, the theme was geometric (and gradient as it was the overall theme of the month)

I wore the base of this mani for over two/three days before I add the gradient and the stamping. It is the reason why there is a wear tip on all of my pictures. In real life you couldn't really see it, but I guess, photos bring the best and the worst, huh.

If I recall properly, I used Hoop! There It Is! as my base color and then did a gradient with Don't Paddle Break A Nail (both from Girly Bits Cosmetics).

I used a stamping plate, bought from Born Pretty Store, that I knew would stamp nicely. It did. It's just me that sucks when I stamp.. I don't apply the right pressure or something...

So, what do you think of this mani?

Happy polishing!

WNAC - Animal Print + Gradient

Hi, Reader!

We seem to see each other pretty often, don't we?

I'm kinda back on track with my blog (also I have a month and more to catch up), SO, blog posts shall I write!

This one was made for the the WNAC.. Sometimes, something looks awesome in your mind and then.. not so much on your nails haha.

I was aiming for a tropical fish. But I don't know if we can tell. They took so much time, I couldn't just bother to redo them. It was a mildly fail, but they look weirdly cool from far away. At least, I think.

For this look I used my new beloved Pipe Dream Polish "A Night In Vegas Collection" polishes. They are wonderful for watermarble, for gradients, etc. They are. the. bomb.

See, what I mean when I say they look weirdly cool from far away?

Also, like you can imagine I didn't take much photos because FAIL.

I hope you enjoy it even though it was a fail ;P I'll be back with something that look a little bit less like a total failure!

Happy polishing!

Watermarble with Pipe Dream Polish

Hello!

I think everyone knows that Pipe Dream Polish has the best polishes to do watermarble.

A Night In Vegas has been on my wishlist since it came out and I finally succeed at grabbing the whole set one day. It was one of those crazy restock she had and there was like 100+ oversold. I must admit I was worried I didn't get the chance to score one set. I waited for the email saying that I was one of her customer that had an oversold set, but then... nothing.

I thought to myself : "Just wait, you'll get that email".

Nothing. Nothing came. And then one day, I got my package from her. I was so excited!!

I, of course, had to do a watermarble to see if it was really working. It's not that I didn't believe what others said, it's just they are waaaaay better than me at watermarbling so it didn't really count. Do you know what I'm saying?

TADA! Magic happened, my friends. They spread so nicely and it was so easy to work with them, I wanted to cry of joy. No. Really.

I was so impressed with them, I could finally do a regular watermarble without all the cussing and the frustration!! I just wish I would have wore a white base to make the colors pop. NEXT TIME.

Thumb shot, because it deserves love too!

Hope you like it!

Happy polishing!

Seaworld Nail Art

Hello, hello!

I'm terrible at posting blog posts! It's not like I don't have time, it's just.. I don't know. I have so much stuff to do, I forget sometimes that I have a blog lol.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that this mani was done a very long time ago. I had longer nails (I kinda missed them), now I'm back to shorter nails for my work.

Onto the nails!

For the base I used A Study In Polish's "Mind Palace", a beautiful turquoise. I think it's the only turquoise I own in my entire stash! Crazy, right? I was looking for this color and this is the only one I found. I think I need to change that!

After that I painted with white acrylic paint little fish, corals, starfish, etc. For my thumb, I had a little fun. It is supposed to be a reference to the movie Nemo. Please tell me you know what I'm talking about and we can be friends! ;)

So what do you think about this mani?

Do you own many turquoise polishes? If so, do you have any recommendations?

Happy polishing!
